🍅 Savor The Electric Flavor🍅
He’s small. He’s scrappy. He’s suspiciously sticky (just like me). It’s the Ketchup Monster, everyone’s favorite little condiment goblin/electric yellow rat guy ⚡.
Semi-related, did you know that ketchup wasn’t always the bright red goop we know and love today? Early versions of ketchup trace back to fermented sauces in Southeast Asia, and when it made its way to Europe in the 1700s, it often didn’t even contain tomatoes. Mushroom ketchup was wildly popular; tasting dark, savory, and closer to a spiced umami brew than anything you’d put on fries (…unless). Some early tomato ketchups were even pale or nearly white before recipes standardized into the bold red we recognize now (that’s entirely Heinz’s fault). History is cool.
Anyways, enjoy! Whether he’s guarding your backpack or lurking on your ita bag, he’s ready to splat.
Only 100 were made, don’t let him slip through your fingers like an extra saucy fry.
